OUTSIDE RESIDENT FAMILY VISITS

As of June 15, 2020, across the Province, Long Term Care Homes will begin to allow outdoor visitation,

by appointment, for residents and their families. As these clients are more susceptible to suffering

COVID19-related complications due to increased frailty and high prevalence of underlying chronic

health conditions, it is important to make sure these visitations are conducted in a way that keep residents safe.

Evergreen is creating guidelines on how to conduct Outdoor Visits safely and establishing a team to

receive appointment calls, screen visitors and accompany residents to their scheduled family visits.

Outdoor visits are by appointment only.
